Hamayoun Khan
Mr. Hamayoun Khan has served at the Institute of Strategic Studies Islamabad (ISSI) from 2005- 2010 as a Research fellow at China Study Centre and East Asia. He has also served with Australian High Commission Islamabad as Media and Political Advisor, and currently is a permanent faculty member at the National Defense University, Islamabad, Pakistan.
Mr. Khan, holds Masters and MPhil degrees in Defense and Strategic Studies from the Quaid-e-Azam University, Islamabad, and is a graduate of the ‘Executive Course’ from Asia-Pacific Center for Security Studies, Honolulu, USA, (2008). He is also an Associate Fellow at the NFG Research Group of the Asian Perception of the EU at Freie Berlin University, Germany. He is also a graduate of the Executive Education programme on US-South Asia Leader’s Engagement at Harvard University, USA. He hold diploma in Conflict Transformation by WISCOMP, New Delhi, India, and a certificate in Combating Terrorism, by Asia Pacific Center for Security Studies, held in Maldives.
Mr. Khan, has been Visiting fellow at Shanghai Institute of Strategic Studies, China in 2008, Visiting Fellow at the Freie Berlin University’s NFG Research Group in 2013, Fellow of Session 467, “Asia’s Emerging Powers: Rivalry and Global Responsibility” organized by Salzburg Global Seminar, Austria, Fellow of Session 448, “The Dynamic Economies of India and China: What Lessons for Others” organized by Salzburg Global Seminar, Austria. He also participated in the Civilian Oversight of National Security Affairs” Programme of Department of State, USA.
